Where Camunda remains ahead
- BPMN process orchestration: Camunda is a full BPM suite. If your team needs to orchestrate long-running processes alongside decisions, Camunda is the better fit.
- Open-source community: Camunda has a large open-source community edition. DecisionManager offers a free trial but is not open-source.
- DMN standard compliance: Camunda follows the OMG DMN specification. DecisionManager uses BAL 1.0, which is not a standards body specification.
